Welcome to Takoma  "What's gonna happen to the Tastee Freeze " was all  my friends and I  were concerned about when we saw them knocking down stuff to build a BIG Safeway supermarket. The Tastee Freeze was not touched. Now there is a second generation Safeway supermarket. The Tastee Freeze didn't survive the second time around. I am sure the kid in the neighborhood were gravely saddened. Takoma was a great place to be introduced to the city.  more
